Quick Answer
Begin by examining the speaker and flyer outside the Frontline Construction site in southwest Central, or investigate the Auction House in northern Downtown. Track the four speakers and subwoofer, then bring the complete set to the leather couch in the Auction House.
The objective is about distinct altered objects, not five copies of an ordinary pickup. A speaker can draw your attention through sound and unusual activity. Check the quest log after interacting with each one, then return to the Auction House only when the set is complete. The room and the couch are the decisive landmarks for the final ritual.
If you encounter the Auction House first, read the notes and take the audiolog by the couch. The clues send you toward Langston in Central and the Auction Buyer’s Apartment. That is a useful alternative start when you did not notice the flyer beside the Frontline site.
How to Start The Complete Set
The southwest Central Frontline Construction site has an outdoor speaker and a flyer. Interact with both to add the Side Story. The other opening is the Auction House on the south side of the Dense Patterning area in northern Downtown.
At the Auction House, distinguish the ritual room from the rest of the building. The leather couch is where the collected set eventually belongs. The audiolog nearby gives the investigation a direction instead of leaving you to infer the subwoofer’s whereabouts from a map icon alone.
A sensible route is to activate the story at either entry point, inspect the Auction House clues, then collect the marked objects as you travel through Manhattan. Several zones are easier to traverse after additional abilities, so there is no advantage in forcing a dangerous detour when the map and quest log already preserve your progress.
All Required Locations
The set consists of four speakers and one subwoofer. The useful landmarks are the Auction House, Frontline Construction, an Atlantis coffee shop, and the Museum of Curiosities; Langston supplies access to the subwoofer.
The Auction House speaker becomes active after you speak with the civilian. It moves, so wait for a pause and interact rather than treating its initial position as a static collectible. Take the audiolog by the couch before leaving; it leads to Langston and the Auction Buyer’s Apartment.
Outside Frontline Construction, the speaker and flyer can start the Side Story. Pursue that speaker when it flees. The apartment lead then directs the search toward the Atlantis coffee shop, where another speaker is on a table. The Museum of Curiosities is farther away in West Incursion: remove the Hiss growths feeding its door, enter, press the red button at the rear display and chase the last speaker.
| Object | Area or landmark | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Speaker | Auction House, northern Downtown | Clear rooftop enemies, enter and contain the moving speaker |
| Speaker | Frontline Construction, southwest Central | Inspect the flyer and pursue the outdoor speaker |
| Speaker | Atlantis coffee shop, Central | Follow the Auction Buyer’s Apartment clue to the shop |
| Speaker | Museum of Curiosities, southeast West Incursion Zone | Clear door Hiss Nodes, press the red button and capture it |
| Subwoofer | SR room near Executive Research, Oldest House | Use Langston’s SR keycard; clear Hiss and contain it |
Subwoofer and Final Objective
The subwoofer is in the Oldest House, not another Central storefront. Speak with Langston at the Central Field Office to receive access to the SR room near Executive Research.
Travel to the Oldest House and follow the route toward Executive Research. Look for the room marked SR near the security-check area. Use the keycard from Langston, interact with the subwoofer, defeat the arriving Hiss and contain the moving object once it pauses.
Return with the full set to the Auction House. Bring the components to the leather couch near the civilian; this is the staging point for the room-wide ritual. Four speakers without the subwoofer cannot complete it.
How to Finish The Complete Set
Stage the four speakers and subwoofer at the Auction House couch, then place each object in the room. The subwoofer belongs by the couch; the speakers go on the table below the stairs, the opposite stage, the first-floor tarpaulin opposite the civilian, and the wooden bench behind that position.
Remedy lists a known issue in which the final subwoofer interaction prompt can be absent. If the set is placed and the switch-off stage is complete but no prompt appears, preserve your progress and check the current Remedy Help Center notice. This is different from a missing collection item.
- Check the full set. Bring all four contained speakers and the subwoofer from the Oldest House to the Auction House.
- Place the objects. Use the couch as the starting point, then fill the five marked positions around the room.
- Speak to the civilian. After positioning the set, return upstairs and talk to her to advance the ritual.
- Switch off the speakers. Move through the room and turn off each placed speaker, then return to the civilian.
- Resolve the subwoofer. Follow the final prompt and choose how to respond to its competing voices.
Commonly Missed Checks
Three places are worth checking before you begin another lap of the map: the initial Frontline flyer, the Auction House audiolog, and the Central conversation with Langston.
The quest is easy to confuse with other altered-item activities because Freeze Frame also sends you across zones. Camera icons and speaker markers serve different objectives. Clear a camera only when following the Freeze Frame trail; it will not fill a gap in The Complete Set. For a different collection route built around returning one item to an owner, use the dog toy guide.
- The flyer and nearby speaker establish the Side Story at Frontline Construction.
- The couch and audiolog establish the Auction House as the ritual hub.
- Langston supplies the subwoofer lead; the finale requires that component as well as the speakers.
- Dog Toy Locations — A separate seven-zone return route.
- Freeze Frame — Altered cameras and their approach puzzles.
